A Profile of My Clients

You and I can make big changes together if:

  • You are someone who can commit to change and execute your commitment
  • You are looking for someone who knows more than you do
  • You don't have the need to control our relationship and sessions
  • You understand that change is challenging, but oftentimes good
  • You appreciate professionalism
  • You enjoy partnering
  • You are generally happy and light-hearted
  • You "get right back on the horse" if you are knocked off (ie if you have a bad week, you don't spend 2-3 weeks mourning your failure, but see it as normal and healthy and get back on track as soon as possible)
  • You understand that it's okay and normal to become vulnerable to another
  • You are not looking for a magic pill and know that your results will take work on your end in my absense
  • You are ready -- truly and deeply, for change, and will listen to and do your best to integrate new (and perhaps counter-intuitive) behaviors into your lifestyle
  • You either know how to make a plan and follow it or are willing to learn
  • You don't tend to statements like "I'll NEVER...."
  • You don't generally make excuses and blame others
  • You don't mind being an inspiration to others
  • Your home is basically clean
  • Your pets are well-behaved

You should call someone else if:

  • You don't or can't establish yourself as an important priority
  • You don't or can't keep appointments and commitments
  • You rarely, if ever, blame yourself for problems and issues in your life
  • You don't see how you are responsible in any way for your programming since you've hired a professional to do it for you
  • You are hoping for a quick fix
  • You are simply looking for a Personal Trainer -- ie someone who will have you exercise and count your "reps" vs a Professional Health and Fitness Consultant
  • You have anger and control issues
  • You have major physical issues (I can recommend an in-home rehab or yoga instructor)
